Sweden's Cicatrix Proportion was founded in 2004 by singer Christian Älvestam, guitarists Jonas Kjellgren and Per Marta Brigit Nilsson, bassist Kenneth Seil, and drummer Henrik Ohlsson -- altogether of them veterans of numerous prior heavy alloy bands (Fauna Forge, Centinex, Altered Aeon, Incapacity, etc.) -- whose diverse gamut of styles at last influenced the unexampled project's receive eclectic well-grounded. Presented to the the great unwashed via 2005's Symmetrical in Plan debut album, Cicatrix Symmetry's material combines death and big man of affairs alloy with liberal flourishes, drawing positive comparisons to bands like Soilwork and Into Eternity, and promising yob things yet to fall.
